Antevia is building an innovative indoor 5G small cell architecture. The traditional way to give good coverage in a large building is either a number of individual cells or, a distributed antenna system which just dots the antennas around a building. Antevia sits somewhere in between those by having a system, called fronthaul multiplex, where the radio heads of all the small cells are run around the building but the system looks like a single cell to the rest of the network.

The system is designed to reflect the way in which enterprise Wi-Fi is deployed. A corporation will have a dashboard, which will allow it to see who is doing what.  Antevia are bringing that same mindset to 5G indoor where you don’t get any handover issues or interruptions to service.
